Arkateq (Pty) Ltd, a SUSE Linux developer and integrator, has been appointed as a distributor
of Vexira's Central Command range of anti-virus products.
"With the purchase of RAV by Microsoft, we had to look for other solutions to distribute
along with our Linux solutions. Central Command is that solution. Combining reliability and
versatility with affordability. " explains Andre Coetzee, Operations Director at Arkateq.
"What more could you want than a robust, virus immune, Linux server scanning all your email
and files for Microsoft based viruses. " adds Coetzee "The industry needs a security system
where the=server is immune to virus threats and hacking. A SUSE Linux based server with Central
Command's Mail and File scanner offer just that kind of protection. " says Coetzee.
Central Command was founded in 1990 with its headquarters in Medina, Ohio a suburb of Cleveland.
Central Command is a proud member of the following organizations: Association of Antivirus Asia
Researchers (AVAR), European Institute for Computer Anti-Virus Research (EICAR) and Antivirus
Developers Consortia (AVPD).
Arkateq believes that its current move, acquiring distributorship of Central Command, is another
step towards protecting its customers from malicious threats that exist when connecting to the
Internet.
