This product, which is mainly focussed on the SMME market, is a cost effective single server business solution. "The local market is in dire need of a cost effective solution that supplies all the major services a small business would need " says Andre Coetzee, marketing director of Arkateq. "We have put together a customised SUSE Linux solution that provides a firewall, email server, file server, web acceleration, fax server and detailed reporting to name but a few" added Coetzee This locally developed product consist of a 19" rack mountable server this its primary operating system located on a flash disk. It runs a sand boxed environment with a secondary OS to fool hackers. The NetServant can connect to the Internet via all the popular methods and provides a firewall for further protection. A plug-in module scans all emails for viruses while the NetServant itself is immune to Microsoft exploits and viruses.
