History and background Arkateq started in 1994 as was originally known as Kovac, a Unix Software development company. The company grew to a point where it was necessary to split the company, resulting in the establishment of Arkateq in January 2003. During this time, Arkateq established itself as a software development company, performing development and contract work for various companies, ranging from telecommunications, rental, asset management and security.
